#2 Jurgen Klopp's Tactics
Liverpool's possessive style of play is a class of its own. They rarely make mistakes or lazy back passes that can be capitalized on, they keep the ball consistently, and they press heavily when the ball is lost.
While Wolves were able to hold on strong during the game, they struggled against a dominating Reds side that didn't let them off the hook during any moment in the game. With Klopp using effective gengenpressing, quick short passes, as well as direct balls from defense to attack, Wolves had to continually adapt defensively until they let one goal slip in.
Klopp has built sound tactics that have seen the Reds through multiple competitions, and they currently look like the only contenders for the Premier League trophy. It's safe to say that Klopp and Liverpool will remain on top for longer than a while.
#1 Trent Alexander-Arnold
The 21-year-old full-back may not have been as volatile for Liverpool against Wolves as he was in the last game against Leicester City, but he has certainly redefined the full-back role to higher standards and he showcased his style in this game as well, and he was arguably the best player on the field.
He ran the game again, entirely dominating the proceedings from the right-wing as he made 114 touches on the ball - more than any other player on the entire field. Maurading the flank and keeping the Wolves defense on their feet the entire time, he made two key passes and genuinely deserved an assist on Mo Salah's miss.
Defensively, he did not relent as he put out 6 clearances to keep Wolves from coming back in the game. Playing at a level beyond his years, he was a highly efficient player on the Liverpool side today and was a valid aid to their cause.
