Liverpool’s new kits for the 2014-2015 season have been launched. Warriors-manufacturers of the jersey have used War-Tech, Warrior's signature apparel technology system, with benefits of the fabric including a highly breathable shirt as well as moisture-wicking to keep players dry. Other new features incorporated by the club's official kit supplier, Warrior, include a geometric LFC jacquard weave and a collar design that allows freedom of movement and comfort.
Coming back to the home jersey it is the traditional red along with white strips along the sides. The stripes take inspiration from the successful Reds era of the 1960s, a period when Bill Shankly switched the team's colours to all-red and guided to the club to league and FA Cup glory. The sleeve cuffs of the Liverpool 2014-15 Home Kit are white, while a "Geometric LFC jacquard print" features on the shirt that allows freedom of movement and comfort. The back of the shirt comes with the 96 logo to commemorate the events at Hillsborough in 1989. The goalkeeper’s kit is violet in colour with black stripes.
In the away jersey Warriors have brought back the colour yellow which has historically rich value, mainly during the seasons of 1980. The yellow colour having red trims around the collar and the sides of the jersey deliver a 360-degree design aesthetic, following the contours of the body.. The Warrior logo and LFC badge are red in colour. The goalie’s kit is black in the away version.
Both the kits are available in the online store of the club’s official site.
