Aubameyang failed to make an impression as Arsenal were beaten once again at Anfield

As Arsenal arrived at Anfield in an attempt to cause an upset and continue their 100% record in the Premier League at the expense of Liverpool's, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang failed to live up to expectations on the night.

The Gabonese international lead the line alongside new signing Nicolas Pepe but he was largely ineffective as the Gunners were beaten once again by the reigning European champions.

Aubameyang was kept at bay by the Liverpool rear-guard and was left isolated for large parts of the game, as Mohamed Salah took the game away from the visitors with a brilliant brace in a whirlwind 10-minute spell in the second half.

Aubameyang was one of the triumvirate of golden boot winners on show but the Arsenal hit-man failed to make an impression despite starting the season strongly.
