#2 The link-up play of the Liverpool forwards was exemplary
The Liverpool forwards dropped back to the midfield frequently to win balls and link up with the midfielders. Liverpool were able to increase numbers in the opposition half easily, and destroyed Arsenal with their quick passing inside the middle and final thirds.
Salah played some amazing one-touch passes to other advancing players of his team. Mane’s goal came from such a quick attack. He now has 42 goals from 98 matches for Liverpool.
The off-the-ball positioning of the Liverpool players was also exceptional, as they repeatedly ran into empty spaces in the Arsenal half to receive passes. Liverpool’s midfielders - Fabinho and Wijnaldaum also dominated Arsenal's Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka completely.
Adam Lallana impressed after coming in with around 15 minutes to spare. Some of his through balls and foraying runs suggested that he should be given more playing minutes in the upcoming matches.
