Liverpool have reportedly bid for Ukrainian winger Andriy Yarmolenko offering £19.7 million for his services at Anfield.
A local Ukrainian newspaper has reported that the Premier League club are close to sealing the deal.
Apart form Liverpool, Seria A club AC Milan have also shown interest in the player but his agent denied any further talks saying the player is more interested in a move to the Premier League.
Yarmolenko’s agent Mikhail Gulordava said: “He would like to follow in the footsteps of Shevchenko. Premier League clubs are also interested.”
