We all know how desperate Liverpool are to sign Luis Suarez. In fact, Ian Ayre, even flew to Barcelona so that he could start negotiations with his agent.
But an ardent supporter did his bit to help the club. He managed to get close to Suarez when he was at the Emirates Stadium for the Football Supporters Federation and asked him for an autograph on a folded paper.
Suarez duly did so, only too happy to satisfy a fan. But what the fan did not reveal was what was written on the other side of the paper.
Unfortunately, though, it is not legally valid and so Ian Ayre still has to do his cajoling with Suarez’s agent!
