A club with a glorious history successful both at the league level and in Europe were slowly going down the drain . The club going into administration was the last thing this historic club needed and with the hated American owners not willing to relent it looked all but bad for the mighty reds . The reign under roy hodgson did not help too , the stadiums ran empty,the players had dropped their shoulders and the new signing not living up to the potential saw the once prolific reds fall down into the dreaded relegation zone…

Sold to another American. The owner of the Red sox – Boston , John .W.Henry . As usual the Kops took them with open hearts although they were skeptical about the future of the club . Then something happened that the liverpool supporters were looking forward to from a very very long time. The man that shook the kop , the man that played unbelievable football , the man that won almost everything as a player and as a manager , the man whose name the kops yelled out day in and day out finally came back to the helm , yes we are indeed talking about – King kenny !

If there was any one in the world who could bring back a smile on the liverpool faithful then it was kenny . Shrewd manager that gets what he wants .He made it very clear that no one is better/bigger than the club . Hence we saw the departure of the spaniard ‘el nino’ which further put the liverpool fans wondering ..one hero gone in came the other ‘el-pistolero’ . This man had everything pace , skill ,workrate . Just what kenny was looking for .. he took the premier league by storm by scoring on his debut against stoke at anfield and terrorizing the defence of united , sunderland,westham,fulham to name a few . His work ethic and the class of kenny put together brought liverpool to a respectable 6th spot in the BPL !
The new season was always gonna be intresting .FSG gave kenny the funds and kenny bought the players he needed making the fringe looking squad into a squad with real quality and depth ! Yes we have a long way to go but for starters this will do . Getting back into the UEFA champions league will be the top most priority .. now that the grass is green on our side , lets make the most of it . in Kenny we trust , with the liverbird on our chest lets get this impressive run going and roll back into the top four !
