Liverpool have introduced their new Warrior away kits for the season 2013-14 to the public. The kit is inspired by the patterns and graphics featured in the kits of the 1980s and 1990s.
The kit manufacturers, into its second year of its multi-million pound deal with the Merseyside club, went for a classic Liverpool away kit colour scheme of red and white.
Beyond the traditional colour scheme, the neckline from the 1981 away kit has been reworked to give the shirt a contemporary edge. The diamond print is a refreshed interpretation of the graphics featured in the 1989-91 away strip.
Fortunately for Liverpool fans, the Canadian firm have been doing it right with the home kits and the latest effort – despite replacing only a one-year-old predecessor – should be a huge success.
