Liverpool identify Jorginho as top summer target
Liverpool need to add some fresh impetus and bite to their midfield and now latest reports in Times (via Birmingham Mail) claim that the Reds are determined to partner Napoli midfielder, Jorginho, with Naby Keita next season.
Jorginho has been in fine form for the Serie A side and he could prove to be an ideal replacement for Emre Can if the German does indeed end up leaving Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Jurgen Klopp hints at central role for Joe Gomez
Liverpool youngster, Joe Gomez, has mostly played as a right-back this season because of Nathaniel Clyne's injury, but now manager Jurgen Klopp has hinted at moving him to the centre-back position in the future.
Speaking to reporters, Klopp said:
“Joe Gomez is coming from the centre more, he will in the future play there. He has to improve but is more the defensive part for a full-back.”
Gomez will be hopeful of a start when Liverpool play against Newcastle on Saturday.

Manchester United and Chelsea ready to rival Liverpool for Roma star Alisson
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Roma shot-stopper Alisson in the summer, but now latest reports in the Mirror claim that Premier League rivals, Manchester United and Chelsea, are ready to swoop in as well if they end up losing their 'number 1s' to Real Madrid.
The Brazilian goalkeeper is largely recognised as one of the most dependable goalkeepers in world football at the moment and there might be a huge battle to sign him in the coming summer transfer window.
Dani Ceballos is reportedly looking for a move away from Real Madrid
Real Madrid signed talented midfielder Dani Ceballos at the start of this season, but it seems like the Spanish midfielder is already on his way out of the Bernabeu.
The 21-year-old has struggled for regular playing time this season and according to reports in Marca, Ceballos was left fuming after he was only given a 29-second substitute appearance in the 3-1 win over Leganes.
The Reds have been linked with Ceballos for some time now and if reports are to be believed, Ceballos has asked Florentino Perez to allow him to join Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
