Centre midfield: Jordan Henderson
Liverpool captain has been inarguably the best midfielder of this season until now. He has attempted the most number of passes this campaign along with the highest passing accuracy along with the most number of interceptions. Henderson also scored a delightful goal against Chelsea and is an obvious choice in this lineup.
Centre midfield: Paul Pogba
The much talked about French midfielder is taking time to get used to life in the Premier League but has shown in bits and pieces his immense quality which puts him on this list. Call it a lack of better midfielders in the two teams but Pogba beats the likes of Ander Herrera and Emre Can while Adam Lallana misses out after suffering a groin injury in Liverpool's last game against Swansea.
Attacking midfielder : Roberto Firmino
Firmino is Liverpool's talisman and under Klopp, the Brazilian is more than just an attacking midfielder. He is the perfect player to play in the Jurgen Klopp mould with the German trusting Firmino to be the striker in big games with his ability to press incessantly creating many opportunities for the Reds. He easily edges out the likes of Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney from the combined eleven.
