According to reports in Italy, both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are eyeing up 28-year-old Napoli midfielder Blerim Dzemaili, writes talkSPORT.
The former Bolton man, who will represent Switzerland in the upcoming World Cup Brazil, has played for a host of Serie A clubs since his ill-fated spell in the Premier League, including Torino, Parma and current club, Napoli.
Dzemaili has spent three years at Stadio San Paolo but it is thought that this season will his last for the Coppa Italia champions.
Aside from Liverpool and Tottenham, Borussia Monchengladbach and Fiorentina are also tracking Dzemaili, who could be available for €8m.
Sam Allardyce signed Blerim Dzemaili to Bolton on a preliminary contract agreement in February 2007. Unfortunately, the ex-Zurich captain ruptured his cruciate knee ligaments early into his stay which prevented him from making a single league appearance.
Dzemaili then signed to Serie A side Torino on a year-long loan deal, which eventually lead to a permanent contract upon the season’s conclusion.
The Macedonian-born midfielder is a mainstay in the Switzerland national side and made nine outings in their World Cup qualifying campaign, scoring once.
