Reds enter race for Antoine Griezmann
Liverpool are now eyeing a move for Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmman, according to several reports. The Reds are currently 7/2 favourites on odds to sign the Frenchman ahead of the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona who are both at 14/1 at this point in time.
The rumours surrounding Griezmann's future in the Spanish capital has been ever present and the sudden slashing of the betting odds is sure to gather a lot of attention.
Griezmann has been in fine form and has managed to score 8 goals and registered 6 assists in all competitions so far this season. Despite the odds being slashed out massively, a move in January seems highly unlikely considering the fact that the player will be cup-tied in the Champions League and with opportunities begging from almost any club in the world, it remains to be seen how this saga unfolds in the coming months.
Klopp eyeing a bid for Suso
According to reports in Italy, Liverpool are now preparing an audacious swoop for their former man Suso from AC Milan. The winger had a five-year stint at Merseyside before joining Milan in search of regular first-team football back in 2015. The Spaniard has enjoyed a lot of playing time at the San Siro and quickly earned the plaudits for his performances with the Rossoneri.
Tuttosport have claimed that Liverpool have made contact with the Serie A giants over the possibility of a transfer but the club is under no pressure to sell their star-man after confirming that they might even reject a whopping £71 million bid.
Jurgen Klopp, on the other hand, is determined to find an ideal replacement for Philippe Coutinho and has reportedly identified the former Liverpool man as a reliable option. However, Suso has committed his future to the club and recently took to Instagram to confirm that he has no intentions of leaving the capital in the January transfer window.
Liverpool to battle Tottenham for James Maddison
Norwich City sensation James Maddison will reportedly spark a bidding war between Premier League giants Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report in the Mirror. The 21-year-old has been in scintillating form for the Canaries in the Championship, scoring 6 goals and setting up another 5 more for his teammates.
Maddison caught the eye of a number of top-flight clubs including Liverpool during his impressive performance against Chelsea in the FA Cup third round tie at Carrow Road. There is no smoke without fire and if the reports are to be true, the midfielder could follow his former teammate Alex Pritchard, who signed for Huddersfield Town recently, to the Premier League.
