Ossama Assaidi, Danny Wilson and Dani Pacheco are all set to leave Liverpool this summer as Brendan Rodgers looks to clear out players he considers to be surplus to requirements.
Wilson’s contract expires at the end of the month and, with Liverpool not ready to offer the Scot a new deal, it is likely he will make his loan move to SPL side Hearts a permanent one.
Dani Pacheco arrived at Anfield a graduate of Barcelona‘s La Masia academy and was held in high regard, but he failed to take the promise shown at youth level into the senior squad.
Assaidi, who only arrived last summer for £2.4 million from Dutch side Heerenveen, is the most surprising departure, though Rodgers has offered him limited first-team chances since his arrival at Anfield.
Alongside the trio high-profile striker Andy Carroll is also expected to leave the club after West Ham tabled a £15 million bid for the forward, though the former Newcastle man has yet to agree terms.
Sebastian Coates’ future on Merseyside is less certain, with Brendan Rodgers suggesting he will see how the summer pans out before deciding on where the Uruguayan’s future lies.
