Liverpool will be desperate to get back on winning ways when they welcome Bournemouth on Saturday. After two disappointing draws, the Reds have left the door open for Manchester City to hunt for a second consecutive Premier League title.
Jurgen Klopp clearly knows that he has to keep his players motivated, use the right tactics (especially at the heart of midfield) and start grinding out results like they did for the whole of the Christmas period.
Recent history between the two sides heavily favors the hosts, who have only lost once to the Cherries out of 14 matches. Although they drew their last game at Anfield, Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 33 Premier League home games, winning 23 of them.
Eddie Howe, meanwhile, will be aiming to improve on his side's away record as the club from the south coast have lost each of their last seven outings away from home.
Here's your team news and predicted XI for the clash.
Team news
Liverpool:
Trent Alexander-Arnold will be in a race to full fitness after having seen off the injury sustained in December, but it will be interesting to see if Klopp fields him in the starting XI. Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are sidelined, although the latter was included in Liverpool's Champions League squad.
Also, skipper Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum returned to training on Thursday. Should Alexander-Arnold not start, the versatile James Milner will be asked to provide the goods at right back.
Bournemouth:
Howe faces a couple of massive blows, as two in-form first team stars in David Brooks and Callum Wilson will sit out due to respective injuries. While Dominic Solanke would be vying to get on the score sheet against his former employers, Nathaniel Clyne cannot feature against his parent club.
The onus thus falls on Joshua King, who will enter the game in a rich vein of form - with three goals in as many league games.
Probable line-ups
Liverpool (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Milner, Fabinho Shaqiri; Firmino, Mane, Salah
Bournemouth (4-4-2): Boruc; Smith, Cook, Ake, Daniels; Stanislas, Lerma, Gosling, Surman; Fraser, King
