#12 Joel Matip (Centre-back) - £70,000/week
The big Cameroonian centre-back has surprisingly been a bit off the boil this season. Easily Liverpool's best defender last season, great things were expected off Matip this time around. However, Matip has struggled to impose himself in the game and has been at fault on multiple occasions this season.
With Virgil van Dijk's arrival, Matip will be competing along with Lovren and Klavan for the other centre-back spot.
#11 Nathaniel Clyne (Right-back) - £70,000/week
Out with a long-term back injury, Nathaniel Clyne has yet to make a single appearance for Liverpool this season. The England international is on his way back to full fitness though and we might be able to see the right-back in action in the coming weeks.
With the World Cup coming up, Clyne will be desperate to get fit and prove to England manager Gareth Southgate that he is good enough to be included in the 23-man squad.
