Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed that Pepe Reina has passed his medical and will join them on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
Reina will be reunited at Napoli with former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, with whom he still shares an excellent rapport, and former Liverpool goalkeeping coach, Xavi Valero, who helped him become one of the best goalkeepers in the world in his early days at Liverpool.
