Bottom of the table QPR have a reason to celebrate. The club has officially signed Marseille forward, Loic Remy.
Remy has been a long-term target for Harry Redknapp but faced stiff competition from Alan Padrew’s Newcastle United. Both managers hoped that signing the young forward would give them the boost that their teams need.
QPR, who have just 14 points from 22 matches hope their chances of survival will increase by the signing the Frenchman.
Rather than the usual interview of the introduction of the player to the fans, the Loftus Road club has let Remy do the honours by taking over the clubs official Twitter feed to make the official announcement.
