Louis Van Gaal, coach of the Netherlands to replace Tim Sherwood as Spurs manager, reveals Gullit.

Former AC Milan legend Ruud Gullit has revealed that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy recently had a meeting with Louis van Gaal who is expected to take over Tim Sherwood’s job at the end of the season, according to BBC.

“I know for sure the chairman of Tottenham was at Van Gaal’s house,” said Gullit. “I think it’s a done deal, but you never know.”

Sherwood was named as Spurs’ manager in December, however, Levy is said to be unhappy with his management.

Van Gaal, who is currently managing the Dutch team already has a replacement lined up for him in Guus Hiddink who will replace him as the Oranje coach after the FIFA World Cup.

An avid promoter of attacking football, van Gaal has managed clubs such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Ajax and has already admitted his ambition to move to the English Premier League.

“My ambition is to coach a top team in the Premier League. I have never experienced the atmosphere in England,” he told German newspaper Bild.

“I want to win the league title in a fourth country. That’s my objective and I want to fulfil it.”
