What's the news?
Real Madrid has scored in 15 consecutive games at the Camp Nou now, which is their best run away from home in the history of the fixture.
In case you didn't know...
Played between Spain's two most successful clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona, El Clasico is one of the biggest and most popular clashes in European club football.
Real Madrid leads the head to head results in competitive matches with 95 wins to Barcelona's 94, which also includes 50 draws. Real also edges Barcelona 72-71 in LaLiga.
The latest meeting between these two sides held earlier today and it ended in a 1-1 draw. Real Madrid took the lead through Lucas Vazquez as early as the sixth minute of the game but Barcelona's Malcolm nullified their advantage in the second half.
They will meet again for the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals at the end of this month, before playing each other in the league in March.
The heart of the matter
Lucas Vazquez's goal against Barcelona in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals was historic as it stretches the Los Blancos' away scoring streak in the El Clasico to record 15 games.
They managed to score 26 goals in the last 15 away El Clasico games and the last time they failed to score at Camp Nou was in November 2004.
However, they managed to win only three of those 15 games and they ended up on the losing side on six different occasions.
What's next?
Real Madrid will play their local rivals, Atletico Madrid, in the league next before making a trip to the Netherlands to play AFC Ajax for the first leg of the Champions League round-of-16 match.
