Luis Suarez apologizes to Giorgio Chiellini after the biting incident; apology accepted by Chiellini

Uruguay striker took to twitter to apologize to Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini.

The Liverpool striker was banned for nine games after he was found guilty of biting the defender during Uruguay’s group stage match against Italy which the South Americans won.

In the tweet, Suarez says that he is ashamed of his act and apologizes to Chiellini and promises never to commit such act in the future.

However, Giorgio Chiellini was quick to reply that he has forgotten the incident already and hopes that FIFA reduces his suspension.
