Luis Suarez claims no amount of money can tempt him to quit Barcelona

Suarez has insisted that money will not persuade him to quit the Nou Camp

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has insisted that he has no plans of leaving the club anytime in the near future and plans to stay at the Catalan club for many years to come.

The Uruguay international has been a revelation for Barcelona ever since his move from Premier League side Liverpool in the summer of 2014 for a mouth watering fee of 75 million pounds. Suarez along with Lionel Messi and Brazilian sensation Neymar have formed one of the deadliest attacking trios in world football.

The three have plundered opposition defences at will notching a combined 125 goals so far in all competitions. Suarez was instrumental in helping Barcelona win the treble a record three times in their history.

The 28-year-old was speaking to the media at an Adidas event on Thursday where he stressed that no amount of money could tempt him to leave the Nou Camp.

“I suffered a lot to get here, it’s the club I always wanted to play for,” he said.

“Even if [another club] offered me triple the money to leave, I wouldn’t leave.

“My family is happy. It’s impossible [that I’d leave]. I am going to stay here for many years.”

It is impossible that Messi leaves Barcelona: Suarez

The Uruguayan has also spoken of his illustrious colleague and Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi and his situation at the club. There has been intense speculation regarding the future of the Argentine superstar for a while now.

There have been rumours of Messi wanting a change of scenery and is reportedly considering a move out of Spain to test himself in a different league. Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester City including the cash-rich Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be interested in securing the services of the little magician.

However, Suarez believes Messi would not leave the Nou Camp and also insists that the Argentine and his family are happy in Catalunya.

“For me, it’s impossible that Messi goes,” he added.

“He is happy, is in a good moment and his family is happy, although in football you never know.

“Now, everything is going perfectly and as I see him today, I think it's impossible [that he leaves].

“And, of course, I would advise him to stay!”
