Liverpool’s star forward, Luis Suarez, has been recognised as the Premier League player of the season and has also won the Golden Boot for being the top scorer in England.
It has been a season full of rewards for the Uruguayan on a personal note although he missed out on the Premier League Trophy.
After serving a ban in the initial portion of the season, he came back stronger and proved pivotal in shaping up a good season for the Merseyside outfit.
Earlier, Suarez also bagged the PFA Player of the Season award. He has been almost unstoppable this season, netting 31 goals in 33 games and assisting 12 in the process. His club team-mate, Daniel Sturridge, sits at 2nd place with 21 goals.
Leading the scoring charts as well as the assists speaks volumes about the incredible season he has experienced. He has set numerous records both at the club and in the league. Winning the Golden Boot made him the 1st Liverpool player to win it outright.
Earlier, Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis was crowned as the 2013-14 Premier League Manager of the Year award for his efforts in taking Crystal Palace out of the drop zone and ensuring they survive the season comfortably.
Brendon Rodgers, on the other hand, won the LMA Manager of the Year award for having a fantastic season with Liverpool.
