Italian giants Inter Milan have been looking to boost their midfield and the name doing the rounds is Italian winger Alessio Cerci, who is currently on loan to rivals AC Milan from Atletico Madrid.
However, another name popped up on Wednesday, that off Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski, who might be open to join the club on loan. According to Italian sports newspaper, Corriere dello Sport, the club, and the German have reached an agreement and the 29-year-old will move to San Siro on a free loan transfer.
The only thing that needs to be clarified is whether the clause for the purchase at the end of the loan would be compulsory or optional.
If compulsory, then Inter are not willing to pay more than €6 million and if optional, then they could shell out €8 million.
