Lukas Podolski's new boots shows a message of support towards Michael Schumacher

Schalke and Cologne show their support towards Schumacher

Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has revealed his new Adidas boots that has an engraved message of support towards fellow countryman Michael Schumacher.

Schumacher’s many admirers hold a strong belief that the former F1 driver will soon recover. He remains in an induced coma following a skiing accident in the French Alps on December 29th.

Bundesliga sides FC Cologne and Schalke had recently showed their support before a match and his former team Mercedes carried a message on their car for the practice event in Jerez last month.

Podolski posted a picture of the boots earlier today which the German is expected to wear against Manchester United tomorrow night.
