Keylor Navas - 7/10
The PSG custodian had no chance with Paqueta's strike but made a couple of important saves in the match which kept Lyon from running away with it.
Colin Dagba - 6.5/10
He left a lot to be desired going forward with wayward crosses and sloppy possession, but looked strong in defense. Dagba also made four ball recoveries and blocked one shot.
Marquinhos - 7.5/10
The Brazilian was at his resolute best once again, blocking two shots and making two interceptions. Marquinhos also made a vital recovery when Lyon appeared certain to score.
Presnel Kimpembe - 5.5/10
The youngster was all over the place in the opening stanza, even getting beaten to a cross for Lyon's opener, but improved slightly after the break.
Nuno Mendes - 7/10
Mendes was a menace going forward, making some nice crosses and registering four key passes, but looked wanting defensively. He failed to make a single clearance, interception or tackle, though he won three fouls.
Ander Herrera - 6.5/10
The Spaniard gave Lyon a lot to think about with his movement and passes but the end-product was lacking at times. Herrera managed a key pass and three tackles in a hardworking performance.
Leandro Paredes - 6/10
Lyon's intensity and pace was sometimes too much for him to cope with, causing Paredes to jump into some mistimed tackles.
Marco Verratti - 6.5/10
Like Paredes, Verratti also struggled with Lyon's pace and hence couldn't have the impact he normally does. The Italian was excellent defensively though, making a team-high five tackles.
Giorginio Wijnaldum - 4/10
The Dutchman has mostly looked lost in PSG colors since joining from Liverpool but last night epitomized it more than ever. There was no desire, conviction or enthusiasm from Wijnaldum, who also struggled in a wide position.
Mauro Icardi - 5/10
He wasn't as bad as Wijnaldum but wasn't much better either, rarely threatening the Lyon defense. Icardi also missed a good chance to score in the second half.
Kylian Mbappe - 7.5/10
PSG's best player of the night, Mbappe played with all his heart despite missing both Messi and Neymar on the night once again. He was unlucky not to have found the net, although the PSG ace struck the post twice.
Substitutes
Thilo Kehrer - 7.5/10
He saved PSG's blushes by scoring just minutes after coming on. Kehrer was an impact substitution of the highest order on the night.
Eric Ebimbe - 5/10
He was barely seen during the final 10 minutes of the game he came on for.
Edouard Michut - 7/10
He assisted Kehrer for the equalizer but didn't do much else.
Xavi Simmons - 7/10
Simmons was full of energy, industry, and eagerness as PSG looked for the winning goal.
