Malaysia and East Timor will battle for three points in the ASEAN Championship on Wednesday (December 11th). The game will be played at Bukit Jalil National Stadium (Kuala Lumpur).
The home side kick-started their tournament with a 2-2 draw against Cambodia over the weekend. They went into the break in the lead courtesy of Stuart Wilkins' 35th-minute strike. Abdel Coulibaly and Ty Sa scored to put Cambodia ahead by the hour-mark while Fergus Tierney stepped off the bench to equalize in the 74th minute.
East Timor, meanwhile, suffered a 10-0 thrashing at the hands of Thailand. Ban Davis, Seksan Ratree, Teerasak Poeiphimai and Suphanat Mueanta each scored braces while Patrik Gustavsson and Nicholas Mickelson scored a goal each in the rout.
The loss left the Crocodiles at the foot of Group B on zero points. Malaysia are third on one point.

Malaysia would have been disappointed not to claim maximum points against Cambodia but they have an opprtunity to bounce back here. They have won the last five head-to-head games on the bounce and are the overwhelming favorites to win a sixth game on the trot.
Timor-Leste were roundly thrashed in their opening game of the tournament and another hiding could be in store for them here.
