#3 Raheem Sterling's barren run against Manchester United continues
Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has an enviable goalscoring record against many teams in the country, but Manchester United are surprisingly not one of them.
In his 23rd appearance against Manchester United in all competitions, Sterling is yet to score.
After ending his dry run against Liverpool earlier this year, many expected Sterling to do the same against Manchester United. But Aaron Wan-Bissaka and co. had other ideas.
Sterling was allowed very little room to twist and turn when out wide and didn't fare much better when he drifted centrally either.
#2 Luke Shaw's stock continues to rise
What a season it has been for Luke Shaw! Heavily criticised in the past by Manchester United fans and pundits alike, the former Southampton man had a lot to prove prior at the start of the season.
With Alex Telles waiting to pounce on an opportunity to break into the first team, Luke Shaw is playing the best football of his career so far. Not only has he been solid at the back so far this season, but he has also been a handful for the opposition defence going forward.
He was very good once again against Manchester City, dealing with the tricky Riyad Mahrez well enough, barring a couple of occasions. He capped off a solid performance with a massive goal, striking the football sweetly through a Manchester City crowd and into the back of the net.
#1 Is the Premier League title race still on?
Defeat means Manchester City's lead at the top has now been reduced to 11 points with ten games remaining.
The title is still very much Guardiola and co.'s to lose, but a few Manchester United fans do have newfound interest in the title race. However, Manchester City only have one fixture against the traditional 'big 6' in the rest of their campaign.
Nevertheless, crazier things have happened in football. But it does seem like a bit of a stretch to imagine Manchester City failing to win the title from such a commanding position.
