Manchester City have announced their decision to sign Fiorentina star, Stevan Jovetic, to replace their former striker, Mario Balotelli.
City boss Roberto Mancini has shortlisted Stevan hopes that the Viola star will be able replace Balotelli, who moved to AC Milan. Mancini has said “It is hard to find a replacement for Balotelli in January. Jovetic really interest us, he would be a good fit.” He went to say that “We are moving now, because in May champions are already reserved. We are interested in Falcao, but Jovetic is also a fit.”
Stevan Jovetic was signed by Fiorentina for reported fee of £8 million, in 2008 and scored his first goal for the club in 2009 against Atlanta. He has a conttract with the club that keeps him with the Viola till 2016. Stevan was a regular of the U-21 Montenegro national team and is also a founding member of the Montenegro Naiotnal team, who played Hungary in 2007 as their first game.
