After missing out on Frenkie De Jong, Pep Guardiola and Manchester City have emerged as the primary bidder for his national teammate, Matthijs de Ligt.
The 19-year-old defender regarded as one of the top talents in the Netherlands, and along with City, clubs like Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Juventus are also keeping an eye on the youngster.
Manchester City already has four established center backs, but with Kompany's injury problems and age against his side, the acquisition of Matthijs de Ligt would undoubtedly add more depth to the squad.

Manchester City starlet, Luke Bolton has signed for Wycombe Wanderers on loan till the rest of the season.
Wanderers Boss, Gareth Ainsworth was excited with the transfer and said -
