#3 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang | Arsenal
Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened his account for the season with a hat-trick in the EFL Cup in midweek. The Gabonese striker has not touched the heights of his 2019-20 campaign, but did manage to get into double digits last season.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur showed how to score against Manchester City, as Son Hueng Min finished off a great counter-attacking move. With the pace Aubameyang possesses, he could cause problems aplenty for the Manchester City defence.
#2 Riyad Mahrez | Manchester City
Riyad Mahrez, coming off the bench, needed just six minutes against Norwich City to find the back of the net in Manchester City's 5-0 rout. Mahrez is yet to seal a spot in the starting XI under Pep Guardiola, and despite posting impressive numbers last season, he remains a rotation player.
Mahrez was impressive in their UEFA Champions League campaign last season as well. He is blessed with a wand of a left foot, and can change the outcome of a game.
He is expected to go up against Kieran Tierney on the right flank; considering his experience, Mahrez could come out on top against the young full-back.
#1 Jack Grealish | Manchester City
Jack Grealish opened his account for Manchester City in their 5-0 win over Norwich City. In the process, he became the first English player since 2014 to score on his debut in front of home fans at the Etihad Stadium.
City's £100 million summer signing has gotten off to a good start to life at his new club. In his second home game of the season, a similar kind of performance can be expected against the Gunners, who've conceded four goals in their opening two games of the 2021-22 campaign.
