Bruno Fernandes in action on his Manchester United debut
#4 Flop: Andreas Pereira

Andreas Pereira was disappointing in the midfield
A willing runner but offering little more in midfield, the Brazilian has really struggled to make the most of his extended run in the first team, as was the case tonight. Far too careless in possession and a little too aggressive in his tackle, Andreas turned the ball over several times, breaking what little momentum United seemed to be building up. The fact that he keeps being deployed in different positions isn’t helping either, as he didn’t fare much better in the second half when he was shifted out to the left.

The absence of Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay seems to be the only thing keeping him in the team, and with the addition of Bruno Fernandes, one would expect that he would be the one to make way once the Frenchman and the Scotsman return from injury.
#3 Hit: Luke Shaw
Luke Shaw turned in a determined defensive display
The emergence of Brandon Williams this season has forced Luke Shaw to raise his game over the past few months, and the young Englishman has risen to the challenge admirably. Having been played as the left-sided centre-back in a back-three recently, Shaw was deployed at his customary left-back position on the night as was up against none other than the dangerous Adama Traore.
He defended doggedly and allowed Traore few opportunities to unleash his pace, using his own speed to keep the Spaniard in check. Shaw also made a couple of key interventions to stop Wolves from countering and walked off the field with his head held high.
