#3 HIT: Thomas Partey
If there were any doubts regarding his talent and impact, Thomas Partey may have cleared them all on this night. The new signing put in a massive performance and single-handedly owned the midfield.
The 27-year-old gives a totally new dimension to the Arsenal team. Partey was the hub of every Arsenal attack and was heavily involved in build-up play. Attacking threat, almost-limitless stamina, and a gigantic physical presence, Arsenal really have a solid player in their hands. We can only expect more performances like these from the Ghanaian.
#2 FLOP: Paul Pogba
Sometimes football is a harsh game and tonight it certainly was that way for Paul Pogba. At the start of the second half, it looked like Pogba would be the one who'll make something happen for Manchester United. He looked to have rediscovered his mojo going forward in that second half but his reckless challenge on Bellerin proved to be the turning point of the game.
#1 HIT: Héctor Bellerín
Héctor Bellerín’s improvement since the tail end of last season hasn’t been spoken about enough. The full-back was exceptional yet again and was probably the best player on the pitch tonight. It was the Spaniard who helped break the deadlock in the game after he beat Pogba on the overlap and won the crucial penalty.
Bellerin was full of running throughout the game and bombed down that right flank every time he got a chance. He is known for his attacking talent and he showcased it perfectly today.
