Manchester United continue to disappoint their fans with a 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle United in their final game of 2024 on Monday. The Red Devils have lost their last four games in all competitions and head into the New Year as close to rock bottom as they have gotten in the Premier League era.
The Magpies opened the scoring through Alexander Isak in the fourth minute. The visitors wrapped up the scoring 15 minutes later through Joelinton after the Brazilian powered in a header to secure the victory before halftime. Ruben Amorim's side has conceded seven and scored none in their last three league games.
