Marcus Rashford looked lively against Kristiansund
The Englishman started on the left attacking role and was United’s most potent attacker in the first half. Marcus Rashford was his usual fast and fluid self, popping up across the front three and combining well with Luke Shaw on the wings.

The youngster ran the channels quite well on the night and gave the Kristiansund defense a lot of headaches with his movement.
With the ball at his feet, Rashford was dynamic and tried to make things happen. His quick feet and his diagonal runs regularly opened up the opposition back line, and he did carve out quite a few chances for his teammates.
The Englishman also had a few opportunities to score himself, but his finishing was a tad uninspired. One of his free-kicks was also brilliantly saved in the first half.
Rashford suffered due to a lack of the final ball, as United missed the creative spark from midfield on the night. However, the Englishman's overall performance should please Solskjaer.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
