Manchester United v AFC Bournemouth - Premier League
Marcus Rashford had been tipped to be the next big star at Old Trafford since he broke through from the youth ranks under Louis van Gaal. However, under the pessimistic guidance of Jose Mourinho, the youngster had gone backwards in recent times and had looked like a totally different player. He was low on confidence, had his game changed by the Portuguese and almost lost his ability to impact the games.

Solskjaer, like the perfect Manchester United manager, nurtured his young sensation back to full form and against Bournemouth, Rashford was unplayable at times. Some of the tricks and skills he unleashed on the poor defense was outrageous. He gave the game the perfect start, fooling Ake and Daniel and leaving them dead on their tracks in the 5th minute, and setting up the Pogba goal. He then got on the scoresheet right at the stroke of halftime, finishing well from a Martial cross.
The English youngster tormented the opposition and entertained the Old Trafford faithful right until the 70th minute, when he was replaced by Romelu Lukaku. By then, Rashford had ensured that United ended the night with all 3 points.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
