#4 Victor Lindelof

Lindelof had another stellar outing for Manchester United
The Swedish Center Back had Smalling for company once again and it seems that the partnership between the two suits Lindelof well. Tasked with keeping Michy Batshuayi at bay, the Swede was always in control and defended well in the entire game. Smalling’s positioning did leave him vulnerable on a few occasions, but Lindelof dealt with the situation well.

There was nothing he could do about the goal though, as he was busy staying close to his man. In fact, Lindelof was so assured that Batshuayi had a frustrating night and rarely threatened. But Lindelof did not just hold the fort at the back. In absence of Matic, Manchester United were both vulnerable on the counter and also missed a distributor from the back. Lindelof regularly took the ball forward and kept it moving. At one point, he was also seen urging Fred to move forward when the Brazilian had dropped deep.
Lindelof brings a lot of different qualities to this team and against Crystal Palace, he helped an injury hit United earn all 3 points.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
