At just 24 years old, his spectacular level of display is already comparable to fellow prominent fullbacks such as Jordi Alba and Dani Alves. With his performances drawing attention from elite clubs, it is not strange that Manchester United have been linked with the defender several times.

This season, the Bayern superstar has amassed 11 assists in the Bundesliga and a further 2 in the UEFA Champions League. His pass completion rate stands at a high 90.8 percent per game in all competitions. An agile, offensive-minded defender with exceptional vision, Kimmich would be a dream right-back for any goal-hungry team.
Despite being considerably less prominent than Young in terms of defensive stats, his outstanding offensive capabilities would be more than enough to compensate for his weakness. He would be Solskjaer's undisputable starter soon if United manage to snatch him from Bayern.
