Jesse Lingard brought United level in the game with a messy hit right after Alexandre Lacazette's clumsy finish but the Englishman was substituted soon afterward for Paul Pogba. Lingard wasn't brilliant throughout the game but taking him off right after he had found some rhythm was hard to understand.
