Manchester United showed that they possessed heart when they went right back into the game with Jesse Lingard's equalizer. However, the mistake they made was that they did not go for the kill when the game was in their bag. An inefficient Marcus Rashford was probably the reason.

Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera were brilliant in patches as was Marouane Fellaini who came off the bench. United, sadly, did not go for the kill and let the game slip away.
