Even against Fulham, many expected Mourinho to be cautious. Maybe it was the taste of the offensive freedom he picked up against Arsenal, or maybe it was the woeful defensive record of his struggling opponents, but on Saturday, the Portuguese put out a team that was a little less cautious than is expected of him this season.

The biggest decision he made was to put Paul Pogba on the bench and play Mata in the middle. It was a decision that chanced the game and allowed United to be fluid. Like in midweek, the United players wasted little time on the ball, moved it around quickly and kept things simple for most of the game. Like the United teams of old, on Saturday, Manchester United relied on delicious wing play, with both Dalot and Young putting up a show for the spectators. But it was the way United played, the way that this team was reminiscent of the great teams of the old that would be the biggest positive on the night.
"Attack, Attack, Attack" was the direction given to Mourinho early into the season. The Portuguese seems to have finally given in to the lures of the Old Trafford legacy.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
