Marcel Brands is the technical manager at PSV Eindhoven.
Depay has scored 49 goals in 122 games for PSV and rose to fame last summer in Brazil when he became the youngest Dutch player to score in the World Cup. He eventually scored two goals in the tournament as the Oranje finished third under current Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal.
PSV sealed the Eredivisie title in April itself and Depay played a key role having scored 21 goals this season. He also has 4 assists. The rest of the squad were reportedly told of the transfer in a training session by manager Phillip Cocu.
