Wilfried Zaha, the Crystal Palace forward who is on loan from United, made derogatory gesture towards the visiting fans at Selhurst Park last Saturday in response to the taunts he was subjected to regarding his much talked about move to the Premier League club.
New Manchester United signing Wilfried Zaha is sorry for showing visiting fans the middle finger during Crystal Palace’s 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park in a championship match.
Zaha, who remains on loan at Crystal Palace until the end of the season following a move to Old Trafford in the January transfer window, smiled and gestured after being taunted constantly by the Leeds United supporters.
United and Leeds remain fiercest of rivals in spite of the Yorkshire based club’s relegation from the Premier League way back in the 2003-04 season.
Zaha, to his credit, has six goals for Palace this season and also made his debut for England in the November last year friendly against Sweden.
