Defending Premier League champions Manchester United announced their squad for the UEFA Champions League group states.
Deadline day signing Marouane Fellaini has been added in the squad that was given in to UEFA. Darren Fletcher, who is part of the club’s Premier League squad, has been left out of their Champions League squad. The midfielder has taken a break from football after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2011.
The squad also features a host of youngsters in the B List. Promising 18-year-old Belgian Adnan Januzaj, was surprisingly not on the list. But David Moyes is eligible to call upon other youngsters (21 or below) prior to midnight on the day before any match.
United are pitted in Group A along with Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine), Bayer Leverkusen (Germany) and Real Sociedad (Spain). They take on Bundesliga side Leverkusen on Wednesday, September 18 at Old Trafford.

Goalkeepers: David de Gea, Anders Lindegaard.
Defenders: Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Jonny Evans, Phil Jones, Rafael, Chris Smalling, Alexander Buttner and Fabio.
Midfielders: Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs, Nani, Shinji Kagawa, Antonio Valencia, Anderson, Tom Cleverley, Ashley Young, Wilfired Zaha and Fellaini.
Forwards: Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, Javier Hernandez, Danny Welbeck.
B List eligible: Sam Johnstone, Jesse Lingard , Tom Thorpe, Larnell Cole and Will Keane.
