Karim Benzema signs a new long-term deal

Real Madrid forward, Karim Benzema has signed a new four-year deal with the Los Blancos taking his contract to 30 June 2021. The Frenchman becomes the fourth Real Madrid player this week to sign contract extensions after the likes of Marcelo, Isco and Dani Carvajal put pen to paper. Benzema has been at the club since 2009 and has helped the club win 14 trophies during his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Atletico Madrid announce the signing of Diego Costa... finally

Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have at last reached an agreement for the sale of Diego Costa to the Spanish side. The fee is rumored to be above £50 million with the striker expected to arrive in Madrid soon for his medical. Costa has been eyeing a move to his former club since July after being told that he does not feature in manager Antonio Conte's plans. Costa won two Premier League titles with the Blues and scored 59 goals for the London side.
