#3 Everton demand £100m for Manchester United and Barcelona target
The Express reports that Manchester United are interested in Everton striker Richarlison, but have been quoted a mammoth price for the Brazilian. United were keen to sign Richarlison amid interest from Barcelona, while the Brazilian himself had reiterated his desire to stay in the Premier League. However, Everton have slapped a £100m price on the wanted man, which makes any potential move quite complicated.
Richarlison had 38 appearances for Everton this season and scored 14 goals in total. He likes playing as the central striker, but is versatile enough to play across the front three. He recently turned 22, so his age will suit Solskjaer, who has shown a preference for young players. The price might dampen United's desire for any deal, especially since the club has reportedly submitted a bid for Lyon striker Dembele as well. But the Brazilian does have an added advantage of being proven in the Premier League, which could tilt the tide in his favour.
Solskjaer is in the market for a new striker this summer, but will he be willing to pay such an astronomical amount on the Brazilian? Only time will tell.
