Pogba has Solskjaer's permission to enjoy an extended holiday
Manchester United's preseason training had started this week, but perhaps the biggest question in everyone's mind revolved around the absence of Paul Pogba. The Frenchman had already set the tabloids on fire after openly announcing his desire to leave Manchester United. As such, his failure to report for pre-season training was seen as an open act of defiance. However, it now appears that Pogba might have been well within his limits after all.

The BBC reports that Pogba has Solskjaer's permission to miss training, as he takes a deserved rest after a hectic 1 month. The Frenchman is coming off a rigorous season, and he was also heavily involved in France's World Cup-winning campaign last season. As such, Pogba is taking a little more time to recuperate and get ready for the next season.
The word inside the United camp is that the Frenchman will be directly on a flight to Australia and will meet up with his United teammates there.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
