The 20-time Premier League champions are in the midst of talks to offer 18-year-old midfielder Adnan Januzaj a new deal.
Januzaj, a Belgian international features regularly in the Manchester United under-21 squad and has the reputation of being a very good influence on the pitch.
The youngster was called into the first team last season by Sir Alex Ferguson, where he mostly spent his time on the bench. He made his debut during the pre-season and was one of the best performers. He even won the Man of the Match award for Rio Ferdinand‘s testimonial match where he assisted a goal.
Januzaj also won Manchester United Reserve Team Player of the Year award earlier this year.
Manchester United manager David Moyes addressed the media on Friday and said, “As far as I know, things are moving along and as soon as we get the news, we will give it to you.”
