Manchester United starlet Jesse Lingard has joined Championship side Birmingham City on a month long loan deal, which could expire on 20th October.
Lingard’s received praise for his performances during Manchester United’s pre-season tour, scoring four goals in the process. The 20-year-old, who has one England U-21 cap, can play on either flank or centrally.
The 20-year-old could be loaned out for the remainder of the season if he continues his pre-season from at St. Andrews. Lingard is expected to play for Birmingham in Saturday’s match against Sheffield United.
He spent two months on loan at Leicester City last season, making five substitute appearances.
