Manchester United defender Luke Shaw had to be taken off against Arsenal during their 1-2 win at Emirates for his ankle injury, and it has being reported that the left-back will not have to miss out all the action remaining this year.
According to Telegraph, Shaw has now joined the long list of players in the Manchester United camp that includes Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Daley Blind after scans revealed that he could even be out for six weeks.
Shaw had earlier missed the start of the season for a hamstring injury following his transfer from Southampton, and a setback like this will definitely hurt the 19-year-old defender’s progress.
He will miss out at least four Premier League ties for the Red Devils, and is likely to recover to full fitness after United's tie against Aston Villa on December 20.
