#3 Chris Smalling in talks to extend Manchester United stay
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United are in talks with Chris Smalling over extending his stay at Old Trafford. The Englishman is one of the nine United players whose current deals will run out at the end of this season.
Chris Smalling is currently preferred by Jose Mourinho in the heart of the defence, ahead of teammates Phil Jones and Eric Bailly. Having joined the Red Devils in 2010 from Fulham, he has made 14 appearances for the club this season.
#2 Jose Mourinho interested in signing Nikola Milenkovic
According to Sky in Italy via Fox Sports, Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho is interested in bringing Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic to Old Trafford in the coming winter.
The Red Devils boss is a known admirer of the 6ft 5in centre-back who can also function as a right-back.
Milenkovic signed for the Italian outfit from Partizan Belgrade in 2017 for a fee of £4.5 million. He has a contract running at the club in 2022.
Fiorentina confirmed that they had rejected a £36 million offer for the player and expect nothing less than £50 million in return.
Manchester United are also said to target Sampdoria's 22-year-old defender Joachim Andersen, should the move for Nikola Milenkovic fall through.
#1 Juventus weighing up move for David De Gea
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport via Daily Star, Juventus are rumoured to be interested in moving for Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea next summer.
Manchester United have been successful in warding off interest from a number of clubs for their superstar for almost a year.
The Spanish shot-stopper is yet to commit his future to the club and as a result, his agent Jorge Mendes is already on a look-out for possible destinations for his client.
Mendes has good relationships with the hierarchy at Juventus after he helped the club broker a deal for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid this summer.
According to the report, the Portuguese agent had a meeting with Juve director Fabio Paratici and discussed the possibility of De Gea joining the club.
